This functionality would greatly benefit our company in allowing separate user groups who are utilizing the same form template be able to see others forms within their group or subgroup. We've attempted to use Workflows to accomplish some of these needs, but they are basically hacks to halfway accomplish the needed functionality.

To be able to review and update a doc that is draft and/or completed, that doesn't hide document from others due to ownership. This helps reduce the double up of documents and work because someone else has started a form already.
If the Form is under review (opened by a user), it would be great to see form but not be in a editable state till the user has finished.
But also being able to limit a user group or a couple for a template would be fantastic.

Permissions based on template folders makes it nice to prevent users from seeing templates intended for other groups or departments, but enabling the "view other members forms" permission should probably only limit the viewing of forms to other members within the user groups assigned to the current user. However, toggling this permission enables anyone in the GoFormz account to see anyone else's forms created from that template folder regardless of the user group they are in. The workaround of duplicating templates for different user groups increases the maintenance burden - especially if there are workflows linked to the template.

I would second everything in Jessie's comment. If there were a way to maintain a master copy of the form that we could continuously improve and update over time, then pump those updates out to the external subcontractors simultaneously, but only allow them to view forms completed within the subcontractor's organization without being able to view/edit forms completed by other subcontractors, that would be ideal. We also must comply with Virginia's Consumer Data Protection Act since these forms contain sensitive information about our clients. If we cannot secure our client's information from other subcontractors, we may have to reevaluate options. We sincerely appreciate the GoFormz team for supporting us over the past years and would like to continue building on your platform.

We currently have a large document in circulation (55 pages) and we are in the process of building a similar one for another department.

Individual subs need to know that the documents they create are confidential and not visible to other companies; however, other members of their respective companies DO need to be able to see/share documents with their team members.

Additionally, with these large documents, we need to be able to make edits to ONE template and push it out to all subs. Right now the only option we have to ensure proper visibility/security is to create multiple sub folders and have a copy of these large templates in each sub folder. This means any edits needed will have to be made to each individual template in each individual sub folder making the task of updating a template tedious and time consuming.

While we appreciate all that GoFormz has to offer, the issue with visibility permissions limits the ways we, as a company, can utilize GoFormz.
