Add more functionality and automation to Tab Index Property of Fields

Is there a way to "renumber" the tab order easily? IE I have a full form filled out and need to change a Date field to a text field, Since date fields don't have a tab order, how do I change all the subsequent tabs, hopefully without having to go into each field and change the order #?

another suggestion, maybe a reorder numbers from this selection on???

    Another idea, allow drag drop field ordering on left side bar where all field are listed. Including the ability to shift click and grab and move multiple fields at once.

    I’ve used another software that has a auto re-order button based on where field is on the page it auto numbers it.

    When I reassign tab numbers it doesn't really change the sequence in many instances. Is there a way to list the variables in a form with their tab number next to them? Like a spreadsheet?
